Fucking tear everything down. Build around Pulisic. There is only one player over 31 I want to be on the next WC team, thats Geoff Cameron (and he wouldn't start, just think every team needs a versatile old defender who can be plugged in if necessary). I could be convinced about keeping Bradley, but I lean no. I would like to have Bobby Wood on the team, but I would hope that the young forwards that are coming up would take his spot.

This is the perfect time to say fuck it. There is no reason to not rebuild everything. Look towards 2022, take the current U20/U17s (along with Horvath/Hamid at GK and Pulisic) and run with it.

Yeah they really need a total culture change

Michael Bradley is a prime example of, he starts all the time because he's Michael Bradley, Michael Bradley is supposed to start. But, he hasn't been very good for a while now, it feels like? The whole team has been inconsistent though, outside of Pulisic. No one wants to take on defenders except him. I was excited for Nagbe to get on the national team but he tends to just disappear.

They should have qualified a long time ago. There have obviously been a lot of mistakes and bad games. But for the nail in the coffin that was the Trinidad game, I think it was just entitlement and over-confidence. Coming off of that big blowout win against Panama, then you go to play lowly Trinidad and they all checked out mentally. I HATE anyone bringing up the field conditions. UUUUGGGGHHHH

I hate the excuse that Gulati and Arena brought up, that the US was a missed shot off the crossbar away from qualifying.

No fuckers, you lost and tied too many games before that. It shouldn't come down to a crossbar.

And T&T played on the same field, BUT NOOOOO WESA ENTITLED.

This whole thing is sooo much deeper than the Trinidad game and the BS Panama goal.

    I’m loving Taylor Twellman’s rants

What he’s selling is that the youth system and college soccer are extremely flawed and we’re setting ourselves up for failure. I agree with that, but fixing that is...daunting. That’s not going to yield immediate results either.

Arena resigned, no surprise. It will be a hard search I think, finding a manager who wants to take on this massive rebuild.

The end of an error, thank god. I was so upset when he was hired.

    Hello Arena

I really don't want Bruce Arena as the coach. That is a move to just guarantee a world cup appearance.
    We didn't even get that.

I don't even know who I want. I just want Klinnsman back as technical director, what he did for the "system" was great.
