Big news I guess, Mark Millar has sold Millarworld to Netflix

So Kick Ass, Kingsman, Chrononauts, Jupiter's Legacy, all that Millar stuff is owned by Netflix now. I wonder if this will mean anything in comics world? Like, does Netflix want to get into comics publishing? Or a digital platform to rival comixology?

Or does it just mean future movies on Netflix, maybe adaptions as shows instead. Jupiter's Circle/Legacy is pretty ripe for a TV series.

Apparently Kick Ass and Kingsman have a Fox/Marvel type situation, so they're not part of the deal

What about wanted? Maybe do it with actual comic book style super villains this time.

I could see that as a show

I think you're thinking of Captain Kid? Old man that turns into young hero? But that was Mark Waid.

Not sure how they could do it but a more comic based kick-ass tv show would be pretty cool. But who knows if netflix wants another comics based show with their current/future marvel slate.
