A modern take on the Arthur Conan Doyle character, produced by the BBC.
A friend told me about it, as I'd read a couple of the original novels. I didn't think much of it because I figured it was probably just a cheap cash in on the movie. I couldn't be more wrong. It's actually an extremely faithful adaptation of material that's over a hundred years old.
Check it out. Series 1 was only 3 episodes, an hour and a half apiece.

I was not a huge fan of their Moriarty, but otherwise the show is aces. Absolutely awesome.

I actually really liked Moriarty. My friend wasn't a fan either.
But I enjoyed that they decided to cast against type.
I even wish that he didn't have to point out that he was straight.
This is back, and all of you should watch it.

But yes, this show is greatness. I disagree about Moriarty (I think he just grew on me). If we get a Holmes who is basically autistic, we might as well get a creepy somewhat autistic Moriarty.
I like this show as well. I only see it on Netflix though. It the second season there yet? If not, where do they show it on regular TV?
