    Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Overall, really good. I know people here hate ranking but it's hard when you're the 17th movie in a series.

    Spoilers....

    Spoiler:
The movie starts off the way the initial trailer starts off, but this time in meeting Surtur.

Thor then returns to Asgard to discover "Odin" watching theater of Loki's sacrifice in Thor: Dark World.

Thor goes to Earth and meets with Dr. Strange battles Hela and ends up on Sakaar.

Then, you can surmise the rest from the trailers.

Could this have been taken "more seriously"? Yes, but it was still a really fun and good movie. I've heard mostly DCEU fans say that the MCU movie have no stakes but after watching this movie and what happens to some of the players from the previous movies as well as to Thor himself, this movie definitely proves otherwise.

Hulk vs. Thor scene is probably one of the best one on one battles in comic book history.

Loki has some of the best lines in the movie.

Taika as Korg is one of the highlights of the film.

Really laughed at Odin's "dinner theater"

Love that there is some lasting repercussions from this movie for the entire universe.

    Goldblum doesn't disappoint.

This was Goldblum at his most Goldblum-y, which is the best part of the movie. Yea, this movie was hilarious.

    Spoiler:
Them killing off the Warriors Three made me a little sad. Good use of Matt Damon. I'm curious to see how the destruction of Asgard would play into future MCU movies.

    Yea, very fun movie.

Im surprised at how good this was. Normally im all over spoilers for these movies but i went into this one only knowing what was in the trailers.

This was what thor 2 should have been and had it replaced the dark world id think thors popularity would have increased. the opening in muspelheim and how he fought surtur’s creatures to the immigrant song was brilliant. Very comicbook like.

his meeting with dr strange was funny, him being all disoriented from the jumps and spilling his beer. Loki screaming “ive been falling for 30 minutes!”.

Even odins brief scenes were handled well. Loki still manages to steal the show when hes with or around thor. Hela was better than i expected although i wasnt a fan of
    Spoiler:
being thors older sister, just kinda didnt fit with what we’ve seen in the last 2 movies and really odd neither thor or loki would know of her up till now
. The spoiler was my only real gripe.

by far my favorite scenes were thor and banner. Their back and forth and bruce trying to process being on an alien planet while thor tries to keep him calm had me laughing. “Is tony here?!!”

Could have had executioner have a similar relationship to hela like he did with the enchantress but he was ok as well i guess. I wanted a more hulk vs surtur fight

    Spoiler:
really surprised at thor losing his eye, which is odd cause the infinity war leaked footage he has both. Also at asgard being destroyed and gone. I can kinda tell what this will lead to with thor heading back to earth. Loki’s taken the tesseract so with that and vision and the time stone makes sense for thanos to come to earth to get all 3. Itll also be funny seeing all these different creatures on earth

this is the best and my favorite thor movie and what the franchise should have been after thor 1. Fun, good laughs, decent action and above all those great kirby visuals in sakaar.
