Open world but with cutscenes around every corner is what it looked like to me

Cutscenes/Interactive Movies are a big reason I only play Fallout.

I was watching this, and, it's a little slick, but it looked like a cool dream of a cool world, and I got a little spark of
"Whoa, a new game I could stand to play?! Maybe this is awesome?"

But it starts with a cutscene.
Then I know you have to drive on that road
    'cause there's a cinematic moment
and then you watch a movie of yourself getting attacked
and a fucking flashing X button appears right in the middle of the screen,
so, if you're at least as advanced as a 4 year old
    you press the X button
and watch a movie of yourself doing X
then you see a crashed bike
    walk over to it
the screen tells you to hit triangle
    you hit triangle
watch a movie of yourself looking for clues.

    What is the point?
As I've said before, this style of "game", is like the worlds most obnoxious movie
where you have to hold the remote the whole time
'cause it plays for 30 seconds and then stops until you hit play again.

It may be dressed up like an X or a triangle, but your controller is the [play] button on a dvd player, for way too much of games like this.

Also, haven't progressed much since cinematic knife fights with Krauser from Resident Evil 4?

So that was sad...just like a Viet Namese Dollar Store Knock-Off of the extreme disappointment after seeing that The Last Of Us was an interactive movie with shoot/sneak intermissions.

    Then, I saw...

HD remake of Shadow of the Colossus.

Yes Metroid Prime 4 in development. Metroid fans have been languishing in the desert for years.

Metrtoid Prime is seriously a god-tier game series. Absolute works of game design art. If people haven't played you're missing out!

Microsoft can go set itself on fire during its presentation and i wouldnt have watched. Again sonys was snoozeville. Those dorks in the audience looked like they needed to be woken up.

They should have dropped some more LoU2 footage

Feeling like Katrina with no fema
    Like Martin with no Gina

They were probably saving that for PSX again.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is what happens going forward. Instead of showing everything at E3, spread out announcements more.
