I'm terrible at finishing books, so I've got a few on the go.

    Dodger by Terry Pratchett.
    New Gods by Neil Gaiman.
All Quiet on the Western front by Erich Maria Remarque.

I don't really read book books, meaning non-comics

BUT on the suggestion of a comics editor, I started reading Clockwork Lives. It's a Steampunk fantasy. Only 2 chapters in, not much to say about it yet.

aside from the Bowie bio i mentioned in the Bowie thread i got turned onto a book called Superbetter which is all abt looking at how ppl play video games, how ppl focus when they're playing, what visual puzzles n shit do to the brain, etc...and then applying that stuff to other facets of ur life. i initially poo-pooed cuz it's kind of a self-help book and those are a big cultural joke...except then i thought abt it and realized i was participating in the big cultural joke w/o actually having read a self-help book in my life. a used copy was 5 bux on amazon so i picked it up and decided to go at it with an open mind. only like 40 pages in but it's p interesting.
