Also I might never play an F sharp minor in any song ever.

and also, huge: If you buy a guitar, don't buy one from an asshole on Craig's List. Go to a guitar store and make sure to get it "set up" before taking it home.
That's where they make sure the frets don't buzz and that it's in-tune on the high notes as well as the low notes and that the space between the strings and the neck is right and stuff...
    much more pleasant experience.
Yeah I was going to order a starter kit off Amazon and upgrade once I got some basics down. Like I was looking at a Davison starter, unless I still have that Fender Amp from time long past, then I'll get a Fender because I love Fender.

I had a Fender electric guitar some 7 years ago, but sold it cause I was broke and busy playing Star Wars Galaxies anyway.

the riff, not the solo, of course

I even stopped a busker downtown because he was playing it wrong and showed him how to play it correctly,
and his girlfriend thanked me, for correcting him, haha
(back when I was a drunk...no free lessons while sober)
So I guess if Crazy Train and Def Leppard and such are my short term goals, I should DEFINTELY start with electric guitar, and save bass for when I'm actually going to play in a band

The correct bass line in a lot of '80s Rock, is just

    E E E E E E E E E E E E E

while the guitar chords move around that.

I don't know though, tell me how much fun this guy is having...watch it...check out how to play the correct bass line for Highway To Hell:

Haha, nah. I mean I like some metal. But I probably wouldn't play it.

That Skyrim cover is rad though.

Ideally, I'd like to learn a lot more. I love music.

I love pianos and violins. I wish my parents had fostered that but they sucked at supporting creativity.

I would love to be able to play all that even just a little. A little lead guitar, a little bass. A violin for specifics. Keyboard/piano. Drums.

Doubt I'll be able to but I'd love to be able to just have fun with those things.
