    KhhhI hate people.

As I've gotten older, gotten married, made choices other people find unfathomable, seen people grow and shrink from life and its challenges, I find that Yoko Ono jokes seem a lot less funny to me.

John loved her. When is someone's love a goddamn punchline?
When they're a celebrity in love with a stupid, parasitic bitch who hastened the end of one of the most beloved things in human history?

And when she continues to make a joke of herself.

I went to MoMA for the first time when I was in New York. I'm not the biggest fan of modern and contemporary art, so I've always chosen other places, but my friend is, so we went. And my biggest complaint was the seemingly excessive amount of works by Yoko Ono in their Contemporary Art from the Collection exhibit (I think she had 4 pieces and I think was the only artist with that many - most only had one). She's just not that a) pioneering b) relevant and c) good. One of the 'works' is something called a 'wishing tree' (or something like that), where people write their wishes on paper and attach them to the tree (nothing really original here - this is a folk tradition in many cultures). The wish papers are then collected and then placed in a plexiglass box in an exhibit room where you can read some of them (again, not especially original). After a while they're replaced with new ones and the old ones are then sent to the "Imagine Peace Tower" in Reykjavik, Iceland. Okay, that part's original, but...

Don't even get me started on her "Voice Piece for Soprano"...

Yeah, I remember when she brought the wish tree thing to Nuit Blanche here in Toronto... blergh. I wish John had stayed with May Pang, the superior Asian.
    Spoiler:
    I am in here.

    I KNOW!!!!

My friend actually stood and read a bunch of the "wishes" and said large numbers of them were "I wish John Lennon were still alive."

    Way to be creative people.
