Thread: Xbox One/PS4 (They call it One because it took one year to take out the churros)

I don't think the two are comparable Jake.

    Subscription vs purchase.

You'll never own xbox live, and you get it for only a certain amount of time. So it's very different.

XBL is so much better, I'll gladly pay for it monthly or yearly.

Is it really "so much better"? I can't think of a single way in which Xbox Live is better than PSN right now. At the PS3 launch, sure, but now? I don't think so.

Yeah. Pretty much so much better. I tried PS3 online a while back and it was horrible.

Of course that could have been my general dislike for the PS3 controller.

But for me, the Xbox interface and home button accessing anything you might need is great.

I just can't stand PS3 when I can play Xbox instead.

PS3 has exclusives I like, but for cross platforms, I choose Xbox.

    Xbox for President.

Nothing in this post shows why XBL is better than PSN. You bring up hardware and the home menu, but didn't answer why you think the actual service of XBL is better than PSN.

    It's better because, personal preference.

A BIG part of it is my personal PS3 doesn't have wifi. My 360 does.

I like the interface better. The Party system. Message system. It's better because, I like it better.

Again, this has nothing to do with the networks. This is a hardware issue. If you prefer the Xbox to the PS3, thats fine and totally understandable, but the networks are now at a point at which there is little/no difference in their content/service.

Also there was that whole "hacking issue". That sort of drove me off of it too. But I like the 360 interface better.

hey the Wii U is $350, but you'll probably play it for 2 years, so it's actually under $15 a month.
The subscription for Live Arcade boils down to $5 bucks a month. However, there are retailers that have discounts on the year subscriptions.

All i know is the tremendous value ive gotten back from psplus. And now theyre extending free games to the vita. Theyve changed the interface on the ps store making it easier to find stuff.

To find shit on Live Arcade, you need a guide dog and ouija board
