    Fantastic Four Robot

Oh boy, Fox announced that Josh Trank, director of Chronicle (2012), got the job of re-booting Fantastic Four.
Is that nice or is it "Here comes the pain, aGAIN." ?

    Nope.

    This is what you're getting.

Keep in mind, the people behind this are the same people that cast Jessica Alba as the most aryan looking female in comics.

Fox are setting production on Fantastic Four for sometime next year.

    That's really all it takes.

1997: Oh there were Superman references in that fat guy's movie. Let's get him to write the Superman script.

2012: Oh there were kinda Superman references in that guy's movie. Let's give him Fantastic Four.

We should raise a kickstarter for some indie comic bookish movie.

I searched to see if there was any mention of Tim Story having geek cred when The Fantastic Four Abortion came out.
This led me to his imdb page which reminded me that before F4, he directed Taxi and Barbershop.
So, maybe looking for geek cred is a good thing.
"Hey, he did Barbershop, so we know he can handle the character interaction, and he did Taxi so we know he can handle the action!"
Haha, is that what they were thinking?
Probably just, "Dood, he 'will direct for food'!"

Well in the early 2000s, it was pretty much, who wants this job that we can control?

The fantasticar had seats sponsored by Dodge.

now it's "who wants this job that we can control that was involved in something a neckbeard might like"
