Wow is this site fucked up. Now I can't see my own last post, just 2 of Jolly Johnny's.
    I said,

Speaking of that, I haven't seen the Fahrenheit 451 (1961) movie for many years, just watched it again yesterday, was blown away by it's predictive power...the wall screen TV's look exactly like today's flatscreens, the shit-ass "reality" shows where you, the viewer, have to help "decide the fate" of the contestants, the wife is on a ton of prescription drugs and is therefore, a zombie, and she even pops a headphone thing in her ear which looks exactly like the headphones on an iPod.

And I was going to add, when the protagonist is about to get a promotion, his wife is excited 'cause they'll be able to get another wall TV...she's heard that it's like the TV world envelopes you. Had very similar conversation with room mate excited to get more money 'cause he was reading about a gaming set up where you have 6 giant monitors.

Yeah Fahrenheit and 1984 have been used as how-to manuals by the government and Corporate America, I think. They're scary levels of accurate, Fahrenheit maybe more so if you really look at the details.

Yeah yeah yeah, just finishing up with the 2nd season.

I was under the impression that the original series was mostly campy crap, did you know that a lot of the episodes are funny and interesting?
