I wished at first it was more my style. I was looking at a Steve Rude Iron Man that was pretty Kirbyish, I started doing the arms and cape and it was more in that Rude/Kirby vein than my stuff but then I decided I liked how it was looking and just went with it.

For a comic booky look, I would have done a darker shade
of the same blue for shadows and put some white in
for the shine, like, just real quick:
